The Opti-Myst is commonly referred to as the best electric fireplace to date because it features patented glowing ember logs and a smoke-effect that makes the best flame effect yet. Patented Glowing Logs – In the past, ceramic logs looked extremely unrealistic. Mystifying Smoke Effect – Each Opti-Myst fire has a water tank that is used to emit a misty water vapor, hence the name Opti-Myst. LED lights illuminate the mist to give the illusion of bright red, orange, and yellow flames dancing on the hearth. Smoke rises from the Opti-Myst to make you feel like your looking at a real fire while still being safe enough to put your hands through the flames.

Ultrasonic Technology - Ultrasonic waves are created using a transducer that atomizes the water into an incredibly fine mist.  No heat is used so this vapor is not steam.  The mist remains at room temperature so no moisture is created and humidity levels are not affected inside your home.

Flickering Flames - A small fan blows the water mist out of a sump and over the lights.  The fan can be adjusted to control the size and speed of the flames, giving you optimum control.

Anti-Microbial Additives - Materials used in Opti-Myst fireplaces is infused with anti-microbial substances that kill bacteria, germs, and fungi.  This has been tested by the Microbiology Department at the University College Cork.  They concluded that Opti-Myst fires offer no microbiological risks.
