I take it that it comes a assembled. Is the box finished on the inside and out? Is it free standing or need to mount on wall or reset into the wall? The logs come with it, right. Can I get the stone/rock bed look also? Sound? Power cord out the back?

The insert will be exactly as pictured on our website and will ship fully assembled. It is ready for immediate use and just requires you to plug it in and turn it on. The finish on the outside is a matte black metal finish, the inside is lined with faux bricks and a black back drop for the LED flame effects to dance off of. It can be free standing, mounted to a wall, and or recessed into the wall like an existing fireplace. The logs are included but no stone rocks or glass shards are available, it does not have the option for the logs to be changed out to something else. Yes, the entire exterior of the firebox will stay cool to the touch - making it safe choice to operate around pets and even young children.

Yes, our 33" Dimplex Multi-Fire Log Electric Firebox - PF3033HL does feature fan forced heat and the blower is quiet (it is not loud or obnoxious like a blow dryer and or electronic inflating pump that blows air into inflatable mattresses).

What are the major differences between this unit and the 28” dimplex HD. Obviously size and hand motion but what about noise and flame look

The size is the major difference, the flame effects and realism will be identical. Both operate via fan forced heat so they are fairly quiet.
