The mantel came very well packaged. Manufacturer ought to look for an alternative to styrofoam packaging for environmental reasons.
Assembly went fine until it came time to attach shelving doors (via hinges). With no written instructions (only pictures are provided in the assembly manual) this became a frustrating and time-consuming task.

The lights above the shelves have the tendency to turn-on on their own. Normally, the lights are operated by a push-button switch inside the shelving unit.
