Q: How long does a canister burn for?
Portable fireplace mini logo A canister holds about 0.5 liter (1 pint) and this burns for about 2 hours. If you burn 2 canisters at a time you use about 1 liter (2 pints) for about 2 hours of burning time. If you use 3 canisters at a time you burn about 1.5 liters (3 pints) for about 2 hours.

Portable fireplace mini logo Firegel is made from alcohol. Alcohol is very clean burning and environmentally friendly. Because we use alcohol as a fuel source there are no toxic fumes and no toxic odours.

Q: How do I turn it off?
Portable fireplace mini logo We provide a "snuffer" with the fireplace and you just place it over top of the canisters and snuff it out. After the cans are cooled down you can place a lid overtop of the canisters or you leave the snuffer on top of the canisters. You can relight the remaining Firegel at a later date. Sometimes you have to put some fresh Firegel on top
