This model does not have any sound effects, we do recommend that you stream a bluetooth speaker in the same room and you can play fire crackling sound effects in that room if needed.

This model does not require professional installation, it ships fully assembled and is plug and play. It does feature a remote control that you can use to control the heat settings.

The product dimensions are: 25 1/4" W x 12" D x 22 7/8" H

Please ensure that the space that it is going in is larger than that.
