The Chateau corner has a classic style and a clean, streamlined design making it a stunning addition to any room. The VividFlame Electric Firebox mimics the look of a real fire, but does not require a chimney or vents and plugs into a standard outlet for convenient set up. Features include infrared LED technology, sleek touch controls, and dynamic glowing embers.

Some electric fire places have option to upgrade to infrared. Is there a way I can upgrade the 40.94" Chateau Dark Walnut Corner Electric Fireplace?

Unfortunately we cannot change it to the infrared model since it is unavailable for this model however the fireplace that is included features a 1400 Watt heater, rated over 4700 BTUs per hour. Infrared units put out about 5,000 BTU's so it is pretty comparable in terms of performance.

What is the weight of the cabinet

The cabinet will weigh 76lbs fully assembled and the electric fireplace insert that slides into the cabinet will weigh 32lbs.
