Q
Can this unit be installed directly into the wall?
Asked by Jonathan
A
Yes, this is a fireplace insert so you can recess it into a wall if you wanted to. You would just want to have a dedicated power outlet behind the front face of the fireplace so that all wires are hidden.

Q
Building a frame to put this insert into. Are there brackets with the insert. Is it zero clearance for the heat in the back and sides and top. So it should be at least 8 inches deep. Understand that the heat comes out the front. What size should the frame be built to that the insert go
Asked by Rich
A
I would recommend that you receive the fireplace insert first so that you can have all of the measurements that you need BEFORE you custom build the frame. That would be the best approach, it is zero clearance for the back and sides/top.
