Our Aspen Electric Fireplace, produces a 3-dimensional incredibly realistic flame effect that almost looks like real fire - it is not a background scene (which is very outdated).

I have a cut out in wall that is 51 inches wide 40 inches tall and 24 inches deep. Can I put this flush inside cut out , and not have a overheat problem

This is a free standing unit, as long as it can breathe inside of the recessed space (not enclosed or air tight) you will be fine.

This model does not feature any fire crackling sound effects, it can be turned on and off with a remote control that is included with purchase.
If you wanted the ambient fire crackling noises you can stream a youtube video of fire crackling sounds via a bluetooth speaker in the same room.

I haven’t put together yet. Remodeling our room not ready to put it in yet. But this company was fast to deliver and gentleman on the phone when I called with questions was very helpful. I’m sure I will love my new fire place, I love the way it looks already.
