Yes, the electric fireplace insert for our 107" Monte Vista White TV Stand Electric Fireplace, does feature 3-D flame effects with quartz heating element. The flames will dance and flicker just like real fire and looks very realistic in person.

It says this can only hold up to 60” TV but it looks like the dimensions could fit a 65” TCL (57” wide). Is there a reason the description says up to 60”?

The Opening of TV shelf dimensions are – 38” H x 57.25” W x 17.75” D. You can measure your TV to ensure that it would fit inside of that space.

Unfortunately we cannot part out the unit and the top will be included, you do have the option of not installing the top portion if you do not want to.

Since this item doesn't come in black, I painted every single piece satin black before assembling. It looks beautiful finished- my only complaint is the stupid label stickers on every single piece. They were a pain to remove before painting, but overall this is a very nice, quality piece of furniture.
