Since this item doesn't come in black, I painted every single piece satin black before assembling. It looks beautiful finished- my only complaint is the stupid label stickers on every single piece. They were a pain to remove before painting, but overall this is a very nice, quality piece of furniture.

Absolutely fantastic, above and beyond our expectations. The bookshelves are solid wood and beautifully painted. The directions were expertly done we had no problems assembling. The fireplace is gorgeous and super warm. I can not recommend enough.

The piece was surprisingly easy to build considering the size and weight of the entire unit. It fits perfectly along the longest wall of our living room and doesn't take up too much floor space. We've waited for this entertainment center for a while, since like many other products around was out of stock, and believe me it is so worth of waiting for. We were looking for long time for entertainment center with fireplace and we couldn't get a better one. It looks way better than on the pictures, our friends thought it was custom made and assemble is super easy. Communication with the store is amazing, they are answering all you questions and every single email. Highly recommend.

The shipment arrived unscathed yesterday. My husband went thru each box today and, he could find no damages. He was very impressed with the packing. I had him plug in the fireplace to assure ourselves that it works. It does! As we are currently remodeling the room the fireplace unit will go in, I’ll let you know at a later date if any parts/hardware are missing and if we should have a need for touch-up paint.
