Please note that the stone surrounding the firebox is made of a high density resin core material that emulates the look of real stone. In fact, you would not be able to tell that it is not real stone.

Why does it say not to put a TV on the mantel?

If you want to place a TV on top I would recommend that you anchor the mantel to the stud behind the wall so that it does not tip forward.

The back is open (hollow) and exposed so the electric fireplace insert can breathe and have good air flow.

We do not offer in home installation service but this model is VERY easy to install and would take one adult maybe 30 minutes if even that. All assembly tools are included along with detailed, easy to follow assembly instructions.

Firebox cannot be upgraded, however please note that the firebox looks even better in person than it does in our product photos.

The fireplace looks and works great but when putting it together the one part was put on upside down so we had to take it off and fix it and the dowl pins where to small had to buy ones that fit.
Whomever builds the pieces needs to watch what they are doing a little more

Had to wait for 3 months then half the order was lost. They sent out new order 4 days later received had damaged called them sent out replacement parts in three days. Great customer service would recommend.
