It took about 2 months for delivery but that is the only downside. Our 82” TV fits perfectly on top and the options for the fireplace are a plus. I just wish it had a log or rock interchangeable option. Still I highly recommend this fireplace

Great fireplace! Was easy to assemble and is quality made from my experience putting it together. If you have ever assembled something from IKEA, this is actually easier. I would have preferred some sort of faux brick background inside the fireplace insert if I had a choice. Heat works great for our large master bedroom. One thing to note is that the insert ships separate from the actual fireplace and we got each part on different days, so just be aware of that.
Customer service is also good as they contacted us with updated shipping times to ensure we were good with it. I would highly recommend this company and will purchase here again when the need arises.

I spent Christmas at my sister’s house and fell in love with her electric fireplace. I had in mind what I wanted and the search was on. I found the Calie Entertainment center and the best price at PortableFireplace.com.
The unit was very well packaged. I spent time doing an inventory of pieces and hardware. I took my time and assembly took about three hours using the very straightforward instructions. Having your own tools helps. A cordless drill/driver and the right bits were a huge help. The firebox was so simple to install that I was afraid I was missing something! All in all, a beautiful unit and a great addition to my living room. The only problem I had was in getting the stickers off the inside walls of the side cabinets and shelves. I gave up trying to peel them off, and luckily you can’t see them.
This is a beautiful TV stand and the Real Flame electric fire is amazing! Make sure you look at the dimensions and verify your space. This was perfect for my living room and my 55” TV.

Real flame unit is functional, good looking and exhibits a real flame look.
Cabinet is not well made. The top section (part #11) came damaged and has to be replaced. It is also clear that the pieces do not connect together seamlessly. Overall, the value of the product is not worth the cost paid.

The piece is very attractive and the construction instructions were nicely detailed, making assembly pretty easy. I would recommend starting the screw holes for the stove attachment before placing the stove in the frame as the spacing is tight for a screwdriver and a long handle helps. One complaint is that the doors on my unit were too tightly hung at the mounts so that the magnetic catch intended to hold them closed doesn't hold them closed. I will probably add a second latch mechanism to keep them in place.

I have put together a lot of DIY furniture- bookcases, dressers, toys, chairs, cabinets, etc. Never have I put together a piece as nice as this unit quicker or easier. The engineering precision was exceptional. No tools were needed- I repeat- no tools needed. I was absolutely amazed. Finished product was sturdy and reliable. I do have one suggestion - a minor one but it would eliminate a little flaw. Wrap the edges of the faux marble pieces so that when they are joined together vertically and horizontally, there are no black lines indicating separate pieces. Aside from that, this task was a piece of cake to handle. Thank you for the quality workmanship.

I love my fireplace. I put it together myself and I am 74 years old. It took me a long time because of my age but it worked out. Had a problem with two of the holes. Wouldn’t tighten no matter how long I turned the nutwings but I adapted.

The “engineered marble” staff refer to in the q&a is nothing more than paper over mdf. It is not realistic looking in person and was disappointing when received (esp for this price point). The only positive is the size/heaviness of the mantle and surround, which seems to be constructed of a mix of real wood and mdf. If I knew the marble wasn’t some type of stone, I would have never purchased for this price point. I feel that is very misleading.

We've waited for this entertainment center for a while, since like many other products around was out of stock, and believe me it is so worth of waiting for.
